Carpenters For Christ Mission Statement

James 2: 16-17

And one of you says to them "Depart in peace, be warmed and filled," but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. NKJV.

Mission Statement

The Cherokee Baptist Association (AL) Carpenters for Christ exists for on-mission Christians to demonstrate their faith through work and service in assisting churches to build new buildings that will further the Kingdom of God and for the salvation of souls.
Carpenters for Christ is a non-denominational, nonprofit, volunteer organization composed of Christian men and women who volunteer their time and talents in the construction of facilities used for worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Some are called to go, some are called to give, all are called to pray.

June 7th 2013 one hundred three Carpenters for Christ began building the new sanctuary for Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. Working on an existing block and concrete foundation, Carpenter for Christ from 6 states, 29 churches and 3 demoninations worked to construct exterior/interrior walls, partitions, a stage with baptistry, and electrical. The new church was a complete relocation for the Tabernacle fellowship approximately 2 miles from the existing facility. On June 13th the Carpenters for Christ left the building as seen above completely "dried in" and ready for interrior work other Carpenters for Christ groups will complete later in the summer. The "Current Mission Page" contains additional details of God's work at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church near Tuskegee, Alabama.
